Paul S. Towers is the director of The California Food Project and Pesticide Watch Education Fund where he works side-by-side with Californians to promote local farming, prevent pesticide exposure and build healthier communities. He is the Vice-President of Sacramento’s Oak Park Neighborhood Association, and co-chair of the group’s land use planning committee. He also serves on the Steering Committees of Californians for Pesticide Reform, Sacramento Building Healthy Communities and the Central Valley Air Quality Coalition, as well as Boards of the youth environmental advocacy organization Teens Turning Green and Common Frequency, a media justice nonprofit.
